Car insurance help! Registered keeper/ legal owner

Hi,
I've just got a brand new car which I pick up Friday, financed using the 'ford options' finance plan. In the finance T&Cs it states that Ford remain the legal owner of the car until I pay the lump sum at the end to own the vehicle. However, I will be the registered keeper.
What im concerned about is that the cheapest insurance firm I've found (sainsburys) automatically assume that I'm the Legal Owner and Registered Keeper of the car and I don't have an option to change this on the insurance quote. Is this something I need to worry about or will it be ok?
Surely there are thousands of other people that are in the same situation as me?!
Any help is appreciated.

Yes, it is.
There has been at least one poster who has been caught out and and an insurer has refused to pay out for a total loss.
You need to check if they will insure you, with Ford as the owner, and confirm this in writing, (or email).
If they say no, move onto the next insurer.0
