Males in admin roles?

In our office there are 17 women of all ages and one 19 year lad, he loves it, it's not if your male or female, its if you can get on and fit in with the rest of the work force. If we get moody he puts it down to PMT, if he gets moody we put it down to being a teenager.

I'm in an all male environment, and in my last job I was the only female working with 20 men for 3 years.
You do have to be firm at the outset re sexual jokes else they'll eat you alive. Always be professional and have a laugh but never cross the sexual line because there'll be no going back.

I really do not get all this 'oh god the office is all men' or 'it's all women'? Who cares?

Well, I'm male and work in an admin role, and most of the people I work with are female. I have a laugh with the younger ones and the older ones shower me with cakes, what's not to like!

Good, I hope you get it. You always sounded really fed up and unhappy where you are now and I know what it's like to be stuck in a job you hate. It's awful and there's no real quality of life. You just stick it out for the money.

Think you have to ask yourself. How many males are you currently working this as the moment......scratch that, how many people are you currently working with?

I work in a office. The ratio is more women that men, buts its great we have a laugh......until "aunt Erma" visits. Then you just keep your head down.

Ummm - that sort of reminds me. If I recall right, Falko doesn't like working with people full stop! Might be a bit of a problem there....:)
