" an error has ocurred in the script on this page
line 635
char 1
error invalid argument
code 0
url res://c\windows \system\SHDOCLL.DLL.preview.dlg
do you want to keep running scripts on this page ? "
I have removed the printer and printer software, but had no joy.
Any help would be appreciated

Picked this up in another forum, but exactly the same problem. Seems this appeared after an SP2 install, and is down to Iepeers.dll becoming corrupted. The fix is to open a DOS prompt, and type the following at the C:\ (or other drive letter) prompt. regsvr32 iepeers.dll
Then click OK when the dialogue box appears to confirm the file's been registered.
If this doesn't work, try this link for another possible cause, linked to a program called 'Surfairy'.
