try entitled to again, but this time complete it as if you are 6 months in thr future, so not working, at uni and with your partners income included. That shoudl help give you an idea.

Have you applied for your uni course yet ?

You will need to look into funding your course but the uni can help with that. You can get loans, grants, burseries and still top up with tax credits and HB if your income is low enough.

Essentially when you move in with your partner you will need to share all your income between you.
  • i want to go to uni 2008 because i have the right qualifications but no experience (which is why i need to do voluntary work)

i think i need more of an idea of what would happen if i left work now
my partner earned around £15000 last year but only expects to earn 11500 this tax year.

would i be entitled to claim any benefits??
dont want to look for work for a month or 2 due to other stuff that is going on, then will look for part time plus voluntary work

    im really stuck

use entitledto.co.uk, use DP's expected income for this year and nil for yours and then see what it says.
