Vauxhall GMAC pcp finance query

Just for a change, can anyone help US with a query!!
Does anyone have knowledge of GMAC pcp deals? If a driver is 1yr into a 3yr pcp on a Vauxhall and due to change of jobs they need to re-contract their mileage within the agreement - as the new job is further afield, can they do this?
Many pcp funders allow mid-term re-contracts to allow for changes of circumstance affecting estimated mileage, but GMAC have told this lady she has no option whatsoever to re-contract her mileage in the whole 3yr deal.
This seems restrictive and she wasn't aware of that when she took it out.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of trying to do a smilar thing on this scheme?

Sounds like rubbish to me. I am sure you can recontract to change the mileage. You would think that GMAC would make more money from the customer by doing it! I have had a GMAC PCP before, many years ago, but didnt have cause to cjange the mileage, but I did settle early.0
