Transferring large amount?

I wonder if some of you may be able to help/advise me....?

I have 2 credit cards, one with Mint and the Other with MBNA ... I desperately need to transfer the balance from the Mint card (approx 6k) because I am only just about managing to pay off the interest on a monthly basis.

I applied to transfer the whole balance to the Morgan Stanley 0% card, but they wrote to me and said I was over commited ... I then though maybe I should split the balance between 2 - 0% cards, so applied to HSBC to transfer 3k but again was rejected.

I really don't know what to do, and anyone with any advice on cards that might let me transfer the whole 6k, or any other advice, would be gratefully received!

Regards
Desperate Wiggles! :(

Virgin is an MBNA card, so they won't accept balances from another MBNA card. M&S are not giving out very high limits, so there's a good chance you wouldn't get enough to transfer the whole balance, also they have a 3% minumum payment, so if yuo can't make the payments now this will just make it worse.

If you've been rejected twice recently to be honest it's probably not a good idea to keep applying for cards, this is just going to harm your credit rating even more.

Have you tried getting the rates reduced on your existing cards?

Maybe pop over to the DFW board, maybe the lovely people there can help you control your spending and outgoings so that you can get these cards cleared and afford the payments more easily.
