    Hi

The company has asked to give a response. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on the Forum.

Tenant Direct is limited to 1000 places however, once these places are taken we can no longer advertise the tariff as being available. There are still places left at the moment. These places are for tenants only and Tenant Direct is not a tariff made available for our staff members.

Thank you for taking time to look at our review site https://www.sparkenergyreviews.co.uk please be assured that all reviews on here are genuine reviews from customers. We encourage our customers to be open and honest so whether the review is good or bad, it will still be published. This helps us to focus our efforts on the important issues that our customers have raised and clearly need resolved. One of the many reasons we created the site was so that we would be able to receive genuine feedback and keep track of this at the same time by asking customers to submit their account number. Trying to help customers on traditional forums where they remain anonymous still proves extremely difficult.

    Kind Regards,

    Spark Energy

Should MSE ask Spark to gain permission to a have a board rep? I recall the previous thread where their rep via MSE posted comments that contradicted Ofgem's SLC's. After several replies, MSE stated they could not continue to do this and for posters to make external contact. However, we were posting to advice users that their statements contradict their licence.

Just thinking it might save you encountering such issues again?

  • Personally i dont find their reasoning convincing. Ok you might get one or two people posting wild accusations because they are anonymous but they cant all be making stuff up. Just google spark energy reviews. While they are making comment perhaps they can explain why the object whenever someone tries to leave regardless of whether there is a balance.

I mustve missed threads about them breaching licence conditions was it aboit this issue or others?

On the other thread their rep said they will object to any balance over £50. This was the old policy that suppliers used prior to Ofgem introducing SLC14A.

I challenged this and their rep stated that I would find all suppliers have different policies. My reply was to make them aware that they could only object per SLC14A.

At this point, MSE decided to tell posters to make contact with Spark direct as they couldn't be involved. However, MSE allowed a Spark rep to post completely incorrect information that shows their company has decided to breach their licence.

However, MSE are doing it again. Recently suppliers have posted via MSE for posters to contact them direct. So, these companies won't get involved but scan the board to pick up issues.
