Balance transfer

Hi! If i have a debt of £3000 on one credit card, and have three credit cards with 0% on balance transfers and a £1000 limit, is it possible to transfer £1000 to each and still get the 0% on balance transfer deals?

Yes.

Although technically you will probably only be allowed to BT up to 95% of the new card's limit, and you can't BT within the same stable of cards, but roughly speaking, yes.

Probably not, balance transfer are usually limited to a percentage of the credit limit, so if this limit was 90% you could only transfer £900 to each card.

If i had a barclaycard and my wife also had a barclaycard would we be able to transfer part of the balance to each of these cards or would this count as being in the same stable of cards? Thanks again.

You can't go Barclaycard to Barclaycard. But you can go (for example) Halifax to two different Barclaycards.

And also husband to wife generally (although Bcard tend to be less keen on that than other lenders). To avoid this, it's generally best to BT online rather than on the phone.
