Cost of a new Roof ?

Hi,
Anyone help me with estimate of how much it will cost to replace a garage roof. It needs replacing and is beyond repair. It is a double garage (ie room for 1 car each side) shared with next door neighbours.
It would be even more helpful if anyone could give me a idea about how much the materials would cost.
Thanks

Perhaps a description of roof type flat/pitched/ flat but sloped, and present covering felt/tile/corrugated sheet/slate
Presumably about 5 x 5 metres.
I couldn't tell you how much but depending on the type of roof, I'd have a go myself. The neighbours sharing would probably rule this out as an option, unless next door is equally keen to have a go at the diy route, teaming up would make the work easier.0 -

talking about roofs anyone know of companies in aberdeenshire area that cleans roofs,or is this costy,my roof seems to be a mess with moss, and can build up and fall into my drain pipes making them fill up and block and also around edges of my wall where roof is is getting a mess,i think my old man says its down to the kind of tiles i have on my roof.
But its very ugly to look at and with a clean would make a big difference, there most be something these guys can put on the roof after cleaning to stop the same happening again.
anyone know of companies,i have a feeling a job like this could be costly if so then i might give such a job a miss, but i have no idea until i ask.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
