May be stress, also flabby arms and have that podge where arm attaches to chest. Probably all don't help.
Think I'll work my way thro the recommendations until I find one that works. Thankyou x:silenced:0 -
like Pimento I also use a natural crystal called Ice Guard from holland and barret bought 3 years ago and I am still using it but need to use it daily. it costs about £5 and all you do is wet the skin and wipe it over, I was very sceptical but it works.
meant to say it does not cause skin irritation or sting etc:cool: Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age.
Sometimes age just shows up all by itself

I am really sensitive to most anti-perspirants but I've found that Vaseline Aloe Fresh 24h Protection works really well. It doesn't have alcohol in it.
Just a head's up - stay away from spicy foods, and caffeinated drinks because these will make you sweat.4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -
Another vote for sure/dove max protection
not cheap, but it works and it doesn't sting like some of the others I have tried

Best I've found to date, although often hard to find, is the Imperial Leather ball deodorant (I've no balls, so don't use it like that).0

Mitchum stick - I've been using it about 15years now and it controls my crazy sweating. You have to be super careful to only wind it up a teeny tiny bit so it doesn't break and be gentle a.nd not go up and it lasts ages, doesn't leave white marks and because it's a stick there's no sticky gel or arm flapping to get it dry!"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Nowadays I like stick deodorants - you don't have to wait for them to dry and they don't sting when used. They aren't 'super-strength though.
If you sweat a lot, then I'd recommend Anhydrol Forte, which you can buy over the counter. You use it alternate nights and wash it off in the morning. It's very strong, but doesn't sting unless you've just shaved. I used it for about 2 years, and haven't had a problem for the last 10.Shrinking my mortgage!

My daughter suffers with heavy perspiration - often clothes soaked before being fully dressed we were advised to buy her Dryclor from Boots i think its around £6.49 but lasts quite a while as you build a barrier with it. Initially applying on an evening and washing off next morning before using a normal apd then limiting it to once every other day until you get to a point of needing it once a week. This brought her condition under control making her feel much more normal.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

The regular sure is ok but it has awful smell if I sweat much (not your normal bo smeLl but like a rank mix of smells)
Is the max strength deo likely to take layers off my skin? The only prob with using it regularly is I work mixture of 12 hour days and nights so wouldn't be able to use it every single night.
Hmmm, why was I made in such a way that simple tasks like smelling sweet and being smooth is such hard work for me!:(:(
The Maximum Stregnth version is a cream rather then an aerosol and it dries fairly quickly- nothing abnormal anyway. Its unlikely to take strips off your skin.
Just wondering- if your finding your aerosol is taking strips off your skin, your either spraying too much on in one go or your holding the can opening too close to your skin. Its better to spray in short sharp boosts and give your skin time to recover (so spray in layers) rather then just spraying one long spray- far better for your lungs too!
And if your finding a snow effect after shaking them, this would also indicate your spraying for too long- I can see you'd get some whiteness with some types (I use Sure or Dove normal aerosols eg not the 'no white marks' type before the gym, I don't get a snow effect, just sometimes a white residue.) Always shake first and spray in 1/2 second boosts a few times over a few minutes.
In terms of the scent, the cotton or clean types are fairly neutral, if your concerned about your body odour you can see a GP about this but my understanding and what I've known to prove true is that its got a lot to do with what you eat. Try eating non flavoured stuff for a week and see what happens.0
