The police take matters such as this extremely seriously, however you must go about things in the correct manner. Approach your local bobby and inform him that a crime has been committed, he will then investigate immediately and inform you of the outcome. If your local bobby is on holiday or otherwise unavailable, you may use a police telephone box to alert the local constabulary, who will dispatch a bobby from the next area to your assistance.0 -

Not sure about that.
If I were the takeaway suddenly stitched up - particularly with plenty of 'chatter' on an internet forum - I would be pushing the police pretty hard.
And I'm sure they would be sufficiently intimidated by your "pushing" that they would dedicate an entire department to tracking down the person who phoned a takeaway with a false order. Such things are doubtless high on the police's list of priorities.
Again, unrealistic in the extreme, whether you're sure about it or not.
But obviously I understand that we're into a situation here where you're unwilling to back down and admit that the police would be unwilling to commit already overstretched resources to a false takeaway order, so you'll continue to argue otherwise.
Carry on though by all means, you amuse me.
