About the free initial discussion:
"This Independent Financial Advisor is offering a promotion to VouchedFor users. Any 'Initial Discussions' will allow the IFA to discuss your situatuon and explain the services they can offer. IFAs cannot offer full financial advice within this timeframe. Any 'Discounts on Fees' will only apply if the IFA has earned fees for their advice, or commission on products sold to the client, and will be equal to the greater of that amount or either £100 or £200 as indicated. The discount will be applied to the first invoice for advisory fees submitted by the IFA to the client. Additional terms may apply, as notified by the IFA."
Now, that's a really interesting undertaking: the discount will be the greater of the total IFA fee or commission or £100 or £200 is how that parses for me. So completely fee and commission free IFA advice, not just a discount on the initial charge.
Would be nice to correct the mis-spelling as well. Not a surprise to find some glitches in a relatively new site, of course.0
