The Dimension 4700 series should take PC3200 non-ECC non-registered SDRAM so this should be fine, yes.
Edit: You should check your manual or invoice for the machine though to be sure (as it may be either DDR or DDR2 and they don't mix!) From memory I think the 4700s had DDR2 but I can't be completely sure.0 -

Be warned! If you buy cheap memory from Aria and it has any defects in it, you will have to pay to return it. If they then tell you there's nothing wrong with it (takes about 3 weeks for this to happen) they then charge about £5-6 to send it back to you.
When it then fails you have to pay to send it back again, and when the replacement arrives (takes about 3 weeks for this to happen) and it fails again you eventually give up and don't bother with them again.
If you are intending to buy memory chips I would recommend that you spend a bit more and get a branded variety from a well known manufacturer (such as Corsair or Kingston) rather than a cheap as chips (if you'll excuse the pun!) variety. IMHO of course. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
