I made my raised beds when next door were building an extension so i used the old concrete fence panels and the soil they dug up for the foundations.
Those builders bags don't get reused now so ask anyone getting work done. Or if you have a stables near you they may let you take as much horse manure as you want.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Remove it, stack it out of the way (usually recommended to be grass side down) and leave it for a couple of years - you'll have lovely compost.
Many thanks for your reply, unfortunately I have absolutely nowhere to put it to do this unless I use part of the new veg plot and this is going to be right in the middle of my garden so won't be quite practical.0 -
