Good advice above.. I do think you may battle in vain for a written statement of reasons. They may not tell you anything anyway beyond the fact they probably relied on the ATOS report ESA85A. Your case is a simple one... you've qualified for WRAG but think you should get into support group. Identity the support groups descriptor(s) that apply to you, make a case for that in appeal (you can write additional stuff to that in the GL24 and in fact you can appeal in writng without the form) and try to get medical evidence to support that the descriptors apply. Only one support group descriptor needs to apply to qualify you for the group. There are some non-functional descriptors too... exceptional circumstances that can apply to qualify you for support group.
