Autotek Legit?

Hi,

I was looking around for a new used car, and came across a number of adverts on Autotrader from a company called Autotek. However the adverts seem to good to be true! Such as a 58reg Mercedes-Benz C class for £3,200! There are a number of these adverts by the same company, and what also looks odd is that each advert has a different email address as the contact, and they are all @yahoo.com, not the companies registered domain! I tend to go by the rule, that if it looks to good to be true, it probably is! Has anyone heard of this company? Or know what the deal is?

Seems like someone has hijacked a legitimate dealers logo.

If you look at the pics of stock on the Autotek site they are all taken on one spot. The fakes are taken in car parks and in front of houses.

Yeah, I noticed that, but they list the same 810103 phone number as on the company web site! I wondered if they were category D write offs, or if the advertised price its actually just a down payment? Or if its a total scam and the cars don't exist and they just take the cash & run!

Phone them and see. Cars located in some far off land and will be delivered to you.
But you need to pay 1st. Dont worry though you get 10 years to inspect the car and see if you like it.

If not you get a full refund.

And and i think they also sell flying pigs.

Has someone been cloning them? The website looks OK.

Looks very suspect.
Cars say "Private sale" under the pictures. Way too cheap.
Anyone got any proper info on these people?
