Many companies are using po box numbers ,how can i find out the companies full postal address as the post codes used by them cannot be found
will the post office have to give it to me under a freedom of information request?
or are their other ways

If the only contact address the company uses is a PO box one I'd be giving them a miss anyway tbh.
If it's a particular company you're looking for, if they're legit they should have an address registered at companies house, so I'd make that the starting point for tracking down information.

Or is it a general query?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

It is about a specific company
  • If the company have a website they should list a 'real physical' address where they can be contacted. If not then Trading Standards could get involved.

Every company must have a registered address, and they must provide this on letters and publicity materials (including web sites). If they don't, assume that they are dodgy.

The registered address is often just the accountants' or lawyers' address, but it's the one that legal notices should be sent to.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
