Sorry I don't think either of them actually say what you want. Is there a reason you want something inscribed?0

The 'I'm her life' phrase is something she says to you. What meaningful thing would you like to say to her. I have a necklace which has a date engraved on it. It was the date that we had met.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

I think its lovely that you want to get her such a personal gift, is there something that you say to her often, or a pet name (as long as its not rude!!) for example, I had friends who were scooby doo crazy, she had a bracelet from him inscribed 'to daphne from freddy forever' would have meant nothing to anyone else, but to them it was very specialGetting fit for 2013 - Starting weight 10.1.13 88.1kg

I would put You are my life
That way when she reads it, it reminds her of when she says that to you, but also it's what you are saying back to her, iykwim? XxCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Did anybody else read "a gf" this implies that he has a few!Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

Agree, neither makes much sense. Would go with You are my life (as above), or you are my world, or thank you for making me so happy (bit long!)...
Is it on a locket or something? Can't imagine a necklace bit enough to fit anything on, tbh!
My ex bought me a silver thin bangle with an inscription on (bit like this: http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/soremi/product/silver-narrative-bangle-with-without-star). More subtle and discreet than a necklace IMO. Some other ideas here: http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/women/womens-jewellery/bracelets-bangles?utf8=✓&filter[delivery_zone]=1&filter[special][]=personalisable&filter[subcategories][]=bangles&filter[sort]=price&filter[price_at_least]=0&filter[price_at_most]=100
Not the cheapest, but the only place I knew off the top of my head. Am sure google could help you out with something similar but cheaper (presuming you don't want to spend loads)!

I wouldn't put either
1) It what she says to you and you should be inscribing what you say to her
2) The second one sounds more like a threat!
3) Copying what she says to you feels like you have nothing good to say about her and so just copy her words
Ideally you should put something personal on it rather than something stock. What is it that you say to her regularly that is sweet/ romantic etc0 -
'I am your life' sounds far too controlling. I'm sure she'd like to hear what she means to you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
