It does also have a serious function when it exposes some of the dodgy stuff on etsy (e.g. stuff labelled as handmade that's from a factory in China). It also shows how badly etsy sometimes treats the people who sell on their site. I do know a lot of people in the crafting community who think the people behind etsy are sweet little hippies who don't care about profit so I think regretsy has a useful function!
What regretsy has really shown me is how deluded some people are. I have seen so many items on there that look like they were made by someone trying out a craft for the first time.0
