Sky £45.99 - this has to go
Phone / Mobiles - £100 - this is very high, does it include broadband/line rental etc? Could you switch to PAYG or get a better deal on mobiles?Food - £180 - how many is this for? You might be able to cut back hereCar Insurance - £200 - this is enormous - does it include arrears? - can you get a better deal?
Petrol - £190 - again, very high. Do you need this to get to work? Any chance of a job closer to home or using alternative transport (train/bus etc)

See my comments in bold above. Your car costs are very high, even without putting anything to one side for MOT/service/tax costs. This has got to be the most obvious way to cut back.
Given this though, I still can't see any way you could find £500 a month for the bank. I'm sure other people on here will give you great advice on dealing with the debts. Best of luck!0 -
Hi,
Well the sky were in commitment too, for another 8 months, The car insurance is realistic, both young drivers and have looked about, and petrol my job is a distance away, though I am currently seeking other employment...
I really want to sort things out but how do I handle the bank?0 -
Set up an account with another bank ASAP and arrange for your priority payments and your earnings to come into / go out of there. I think you've gone past the point of no return with nationwide now, so as soon as your income is not coming into there, fire across a claim for your bank charges back for the last 6 years and talk to CCCS or Payplan about putting together a repayment plan of some kind with all of your creditors, nationwide included.
nationwide will most likely send your account to a debt dollection agency, which has mixed blessings, they will at least be more open to negotiated settlements and extended repayment plans. At this point, though, you're unlikely to be able to keep your other accounts in terms and just pay slowly for your nationwide debt. Problem debts don't really work like that.
What brought about your other "manageable" debts in the first place? You don't want to end up not having fixed the root cause of your problems and now with Nationwide mad at you too (it sounds like reasonably understandably)....
hang on in there, lots of advice will come

Hi,
I should have said, I have set up a new account with A & L, with my partner, but i just keep getting from nationwide, if you dont pay what we say, we will get debt collectors to take your belonginngs and it is very worrying and stressful...0 -

ebay problems, with chargebacks..
Paypal is not a secured debt. Also there is no written agreement in force. If they say anything cca them and that will shut them up !!! Regards to your other problems. the police should have been round by now to investigate. If you want i could draft you a letter to sort out the overdraft thing !!!ONLY COPY WHAT I AM DOING IF YOU ARE 100% SURE AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE END RESULT MAY BE. Hi people,
Im not sure I am posting in the right section as this is my first post, but I would appreciate some guidance, I have debts I cannot afford to pay, and the lenders wont budge,
I currently owe, £500 paypal, £6000 Bank (+£2000) Charges, £1500 Credit Card, and a few small other debts,
What I did was went over board on my chq card with my bank, to pay bills at post office to clear a load of old debts, but the problem is they were probably manageable, the bank have contacted me and said the minimum they will take for repyament is £500 a month, before they pass it to debt collectors.
I have recently moved and have not updated my address with them yet, but im quite worried im going to lose all my stuff to debt collectors, as I only have about £125 spare a month anyway.
Im not too sure about what to do.
Any advice would be helpful.
Thank you
I would take out some low interest loan, pay everything off, cut up the credit card.
Good luck0 -
Hi,
If I could get a loan believe me I would consoliadte them, but no company will touch me with a loan, my credit rating is very poor, plus im in rented accomadation, if you could draft me a letter that would be great, what does cca mean?
Thank you0 -
Also its not an overdraft as there was no overdraft ever taken out, just overdrawn.
Thx0
