Help with buying a hoover

Highly recommend Miele. Sorry don't have model number to hand, but have used two over last 12 yr period. Excellent on wooden floors and medium pile carpets. Also worked magic on occasional spring clean of my parents home with associated dog smells.
Cost about £140 in John Lewis a while ago.0 -
I can reccomend Miele - I just spent £200 on one. I thought it was way too much, but it's a great machine.
The one I have comes with a Parqué floor attachment and a rotating brush. But the best thing about it is the quiet setting. It makes the chore a bit more bearable.
Don't waste £30 every year like I've done, buy a miele and be done with it.
Sebo are the best apparently, but I think they are ugly and I didn't like the uprights.
I've heard good things about Henrys although I've never used one.
I'd get a Miele, you won't be dissapointed and it should last you a long time.No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
I got a Numatic Henry from CleanStore as well - but I opted for the Henry Xtra model. It comes with an airobrush end as well as the normal end and I find I can use it on tiles, laminate and carpet brilliantly without changing any settings. It's got a nice big dust bag as well - I hate having to change them all the time. Last vacuum cleaner I had I ended up emptying the bagless bit every time I used it!0
