Will tax credits be increasing ?

This years budget said childs tax credits would be increasing will they increase this year from April?

Yes, they are going up. Child element rises from 1765 to 1845 (4.5% rise)

I have 3 children so in terms of monthly payments that amount rise is not really going to be much is it?

Has anyone had their annual letter yet? Apart from the budget speech, ive not heard anything about this years payments and im sure they must be changing soon!!!!!

I phoned them this morning and they told me any time from mid April, but could be May June or July!! I'm ready to renew my claim now before they carry on paying me money I may not be entitled to, but I have to wait until they can be bothered to send the forms and there are no online renewal facilities this year(which I normally use).
