Ukpetsonline

Has anyone used ukpetsonline.com? I want to buy a new rabbit hutch, and their prices are much cheaper than anywhere else.

But I've never heard of them before, so I wondered if anyone had any good or bad experiences with them.
Birthdays are good for you. Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.

Google "Ukpetsonline problems", apparently slow to deliver and very difficult to get hold of but there are people saying they received the items fine.
Might be worth seeing if a local carpenter or handyman would quote you for a hutch, you may be able to get more for your money if they are in need of the custom, especially in this economic climate.
Bear in mind that the RSPCA recommend a minimum hutch size of 6' x 2' x 2' - many commercial hutches are smaller than that.
  • Agree with the above. Ask around if anyone knows of any retired carpenters/joiners etc. They'll provide a far better product than any cheap mass-produced hutch. And it'll last longer and your rabbit will be much happier when the cold weather hits.

Hi :) I'm a rabbit owner and a lot of 'cheap' commercial hutches are not suitable in size or quality of build for a pair of rabbits (you should have a pair as they are social animals that can become very unhappy alone).

I would recommend a company like Ryedale, or Happy Hutch Company or, as someone has said, find a local carpenter who can help you maximise the space you have.

6'x2'x2' is the absolute minimum your bun should have, PLUS you need a run. My two free range in the house (they are litter trained) which is perfect because they can roam as much or as little as they want.
