Not much to report this week apart from
First late night - Finished uni! Just waiting for the results now then graduation
Next late night due to training and then leaving do cancelled. Good job as I would not have made it in time.
Late night at work and a nice surprise to find compo money arriving tomorrow

Compo money arrived and the 2 remaining cards paid off waiting for the payments to clear then they will be closed down. Yeah! Dividing the rest up into my savings accounts being very sensible

Well that was a nice surprise today finding out that my tyres could be safely and legally repaired as they were in new condition costing £24 instead of £145 as I originally expected. Brilliant!

Meaning all money transferred back into the right accounts and I used the money from the car budget - even more brill!

Remaining ppi money divided up into my road bike account, house decorating account, holiday account and credit card repayments. Even more brill!

Have cancelled my extra credit card repayment s/o's and will cancel the dd's once the accounts are closed down - hoping to do this next week. Can't wait for this and then I can shred the final 2 cards with the feeling of joy and happiness and finally take that cup out of the freezer that has had them frozen in for the last 4 years. 2 went into the shredder earlier this year and this is the final stage before I am credit card free.

Next thing to do is arrange new s/o's for savings accounts to replace the credit card ones - now that is more than brill! This time for house decorating fund, car and rainy day fund.

Totalled up my birthday holiday spends which is almost at £300 - somewhere between £1 or £19 which ever way I have totalled them up! Either way I will make up the difference and take that round figure with me and we will have the best time. My aim was £360 but I think this was more aspirational rather than achievable and I am very happy with reaching the £300 mark by collecting change for 16mths!

As my spends today came out of a budget I can claim today as a NSD making it NSD 21

Spent a little while sorting out budgets and savings. Will be back in credit in the next couple of months then the door opens to increase savings. Should be going well by the beginning of next year when my savings plans come into action.

How much progress can be made in 12months - more than I ever imagined.

Nice long dog walk with the bonkers dog this afternoon, back for a run as it was so lovely and bright and warm I though I'd better.

Great stage today on the Tour of Britain - really enjoyed watching this week

Finally found some more outdoor shoes after searching everywhere for a new pair to take away as my current pair are falling apart. Stuck to the budget too which was from the £1 every time a beauty product is used up of £24 this time around meaning I can count today as a NSD as a result as the budget was stuck too like glue!

Had a walk up town to find some to no avail, called in at the jewellers to look for a pressie and couldn't find anything. Not to worry, no rush, if I haven't found the perfect piece yet apart from the chain. Might have a rethink and go for something else instead of a bangle.

Cleaning and washing done for this week, ironing done and put away. Will get some work stuff ready and prep porridge for tomorrow then a lazy afternoon ensues with a long dog walk then watch the final stage of the Tour of Britain. Think I'll total up the grocery spends for Sept as that's it for this month and have another think about the budgets to see what I can afford to save next month while aiming to get back in credit by the end of the month

Totted up the September grocery, clothes and petrol spends as all done for this month.

Firstly NSD 23 today

Sept Grocery total - £101.57 - brill result for this month and only over by £1.57
Sept Petrol total - £101.42 another brilliant result and only over by £1.42
Sept Clothes spend total - another No Spend Month making it an unbelievable 5months in a row with no clothes spends - now there is no way I would have believed I could ever achieve that!

The yearly budgets for clothes and grocery is on track - ye ha!

NSD 24 today

Dragged myself out for a run after work which was quite hard going but a good time so a good run there.

Still waiting for the credit cards to clear although the money has gone out of my account hopefully they will show £0 tomorrow then I can start to closing down process - can't wait for this and can cancel my DDs at last
