NSD 2 today - very pleased indeed
Posted all but one ebay parcels today - that last one is to go tomorrow as its huge and can't carry them all at once. Then the last one is being collected on Wed and a very efficient buyer collected theirs yesterday. Still no news from the non payers from last weekend who are ignoring every message.
Cocoa butter and beeswax arrived today ready for turning into beautiful lip balm to begin with and bath melts next weekend to go into the pamper hampers
Super boring work today - its going to be a long long week I thinkfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I talked myself into going for a run after work while it wasn't freezing cold tonight. Went better on the way back and was surprised that my time was as good as before for 4miles even though it was quite hard work and only 3 - 5mins slower than my best. Pleased I went and that I could do it much better than I thought I could on the way out!
Have been making some Christmas pressies to get them done and not be too flustered at the end and told a few friends at work about them and they all said they sounded great! That was a nice response. Yesterday was lip balms and tonight was the first attempt at bath melts - halved the recipe so not too sure if these will look a little tiny and slim but really the ones you buy in a shop are too big for one bath. Really enjoying this and tomorrow might have a go at handcream if I have enough in to make it otherwise it will have to wait until the weekend when I go off to find some other fragrances to use. Currently have 9 little lavender bath melts cooling in a silicone bun tray overnight and will package up tomorrow.
What else, not a NSD today as decided to draw out some money for the hair appt tomorrow, then got the final Christmas present for my friend as there was only 2 left so that's happily done now.
At the weekend there are a couple of oils to get with a maximum £10 spend and then a candle for mum to go into her pamper hamper after I finally discovered she likes to light one in an afternoon and be kept warm and cosy by the flame on a chilly afternoon.
Tomorrow should be a NSD as will Thursday too fingers crossedfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I am well happy because I've just had my hair cut for the first time by a lovely mobile hairdresser I found on the tinternet and I was very apprehensive about whether it would be a let down like last time when I was disappointed with the hair cut after changing hair dressers. She was lovely and has cut my hair into a lovely neater more stylish style which I said 'thanks it looks lovely!' - and I meant it!
As you know I've been downbranding over the last couple of years and the haircut was one of the last ones to downbrand on. I thought I might go back up brand if this didn't work out but now I don't have to
Costs
Old hairdresser before NUS discount - £56
Old hairdresser post discount - £41 - used to be £35 then cost went up a level
Last hairdresser £30 - not going back didn't like the cut
New mobile hairdresser £20 - can't believe this price - cut as good as £56/£41/£35 and better sometimes
Difference - £36 when NUS discount expires this year or £15 cheaper than discount cost
Result - very happy! At one time I could never imagine I would get such a good cut for £20 and not feel the slight nervousness of being in a salon while watching in the bright lights as they tried to tame my incredibly straight hair
Tonight I will be fabbing ironing and finalising my shopping list for the weekend after the final ebay collection is made in a little while and then a lovely tea of salmon, veg and potato and rice pudding dessert - nice!
How could I forget! Its NSD 3 today

Right then took the plunge and transferred the ebay money onto 3 credit cards meaning:
I have paid off a further £210 over 3 cards
met my debt V 100 days target of paying off £319 by reaching £340 paid off
brought the debt free dates to 22mths
and also paid the extra payment a week too for this week
A good result!
What else - dashed to the oils shop to pick up some blends today inbetween jobs and thought I'd go today instead of Sat and free up some time for the weekend. Have just made 12 invigorating blend bath melts and have some oils to turn into night time bath melts and decongestant bath salts - nearly didn't get this blend until a few minutes later after I smelt it I could feel it working on my blocked up nose and thought that's nice so I'd better get it and use it myself! This blend will definitely come in handy!
Total cost: £19.35 for 4 oil blends - night time, decongestant, invigorating and citrus and a large bottle of almond oil. Now although this is quite a big outlay the oils will last for until next year and maybe another one after that and the cost is split between 3 people for presents - more cost updates when they're made and I can work them out better than now. Its still cheaper than buying 4 bath melts from L*sh which would probably come to that for 1 person alone. Homemade bath hamper going pretty well so far

Your bath goodies hamper stuff sounds amazing - when I see your diary pop up as new post I get excited cos I want to hear about what you're making next - definitely inspired me to do a similar thing next year!

Aww thanks! What a lovely thing to say and it made me smile and say awWW!
I'll be making some more goodies this weekend too if I can get the last couple of ingredients and I might even try one of the bath melts out this weekend as I broke on taking it out of the silicone case -oh well needs must and all that!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Not too much to report today apart from TGIF after a hard week at work for some reason - maybe the dark morning and early dark evenings are dragging me down a bit
What else - did the weekly shop and got a few bits for Christmas in - used up some nectar points for this and spent £8 in both shops as a result. Not too much left to get now which is nice and will get some more next weekend before the final weekend shop before the shops close for a grand total of 2 whole days and try and dodge the filled to the brim trolleys as I push the little trolley around
Hmm...well, my weekend will be the usual cleaning, washing, collect sale clothes, last ingredients needed for pamper hamper, bit of baking - bread and mince pies, long dog walks and some exercise along with making some more bath products - that might be quite enough for one day! More like two days really!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
