Tesco car insurance problems

Hi everyone,

my 29 year old son passed his driving test 6 months ago,he found the best deal on car insurance to be Tesco and did it through moneysupermarket, the price was £147 a month,he filled the form out online and one of the guys phoned him to go through everything,he obviously stated that he had only been driving for under a month,he has been paying by direct debit for the last 5 months with no problems,Tesco have now got in touch with him to say as he has not had 12 months of no claims they are putting the insurance up to £198 a month, they are blaming moneysupermarket for the mistake but when my son phoned them they are shifting the blame back to Tesco,as my son clearly stated all the facts when applying how can they do this?Would be grateful for any advice please

Does his policy docs/schedule refer to his having a year'x ncd?

If so then somehow they got the wrong info which they will say he was asked to check and let them know.
