Reduced food item challenge Sunday 9th Sept. - Saturday 15th Sept.
Options
Another week, another challenge.
Just a bit of fun, but shows what can be achieved and from where.
Some great bargains last week, will this week be as good ........... or even better??
Not much intended for myself this week ............. I must clear space!!!
"See who can "buy" the biggest % reduction and also the biggest single item price reduction in money terms (without the use of coupons/vouchers or staff discounts)".
Good luck to all who take part.
Go grab those bargains.
Lynsey

This was just my normal weekly shop. Don't really need much else this week, although always end up topping up fruit and veg. Usually run out of coffee mid-week, but should be ok this week, ha ha.MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0 -

This is an excellent thread to get an idea of what bargains are out there.
I will join you guys next week as I am making space in my freezer as full of yellow sticker meat and what not.
I thought that if people put the time of their purchase along with supermarket it would help form a pattern.
I shop at tesco and the 75% reductions are usually between 5.30 and 6.30. There is one very nice man in there who tells me to put items in my basket and bring them to him while he is reducing the breads, hence the full freezer LOL.
I have a Waitrose, Co-Op and Sainsbury quite close by, so if I had an idea of times I would pay one of them a visit.
Thanks and happy bargain hunting everyone.

You need to eb careful and make sure your man is working on nights you go, my store's policy is once it's in your trolley you've agreed to that price and won't reduce it anymore, if you set it back they also won't reduce it as it's been out of the cold store. Theres always the same girl doing whoospies when i go in and she gets awful hastle even tho she doesn't make this rule several times she'd had to get the store manager.DEC GC £463.67/£450
