Yes - people can be very dumb, so why should one negative comment be taken seriously whereas a number of praising comments are called "dumb" ?
Because what people don't realise is that it's not in the least surprising that even a really duff company can still have a lot of customers who haven't had a problem.
It's unlikely that the company would still be operating if every single customer was dissatisfied.
What is dumb is thinking that the fact you happen to have had no problems with a company somehow invalidates a warning from someone who has - particularly when it's something as vital as the source of all your funds when you are abroad.
There are many companies that appear to be perfectly satisfactory until there is a problem, at which point dealing with them becomes a nightmare.
For companies such as this, recommendations from any number of people who have not had problems are irrelevant.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
