Advice on forgotten eBay account

My OH registered with eBay on a whim one day yonks ago (at least 18 months we think) but never actually ever used his account.
He's now decided that he'd like to buy stuff but now can't remember ANY of the details, like user name / password or even the email addy he used.
Best way forward now? Is there a quick way around this as he wants to buy something v. soon.
Thanks all.

I would just re-register that would be the easiest thing to do. But someone else may come up with a better idea.0

If you know what email accounts you had at the time and they're still open then you could check them now, as ebay have just sent out details of their 5p listing day. If you get the email then you know that's the account used!
I'm sure someone will have better suggestions thoughMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

Thanks both of you. We no longer have the old email addies we used to have (AOL) as we switched provider last year. We're working on the assumption that it was actually the AOL one that was used as he never gets any emails from eBay.
Mind you he did collect email addies for a while  so we could be wrong.
Can you just re-register with no problem? Don't they link your name to an existing account? It would be easier if he could do that I suppose.Herman - MP for all!

I lost my details from a couple of years ago, I've just re-registered with no problems
