Next dress at Car Boot

I am going to include a brand new, never worn (still has the Next tag on it) black dress in a car boot sale. I was wondering what sort of price I could ask for it. I bought it for £34.99 and wondered if I could ask £20. I know that people expect things to be about 5p in these types of sales, but it is new. Or should I sell it on ebay instead do you think?

Personally I'd try and sell it on ebay first, you may get more than £20 on there. In my experience, as you said, people want to spend pennies at boot sales (unless it's being filmed for t.v. of course!) and I'd doubt you'd get your£20.
  • Hi

From my experience, you won't make £20 at car boot on this dress - BNWT and Next items sell pretty well on Ebay though.

    Good luck

Not being funny but why not just take it back to Next? Next are very good at refunds and will give you vouchers for what ever the price its at at the moment, I took a top back last month that had been in my wardrobe for a year. I know a bit naughty, but it registered on their till, it has been kept in its bag, just forgot about it.

Ebay it (as #4 said, Next items with tags do sell well). I think you would be VERY lucky to get more than a fiver at a Boot Sale.

Not going to sell for £20 - try eBay if they do a cheap listing day soon. :)

In my experience, new second-hand should get around a third of it's original price.
