Can't believe I am typing this, but I am actually praising Tesco
I was in there today buying a few bits for my Kids and went to pay on the self scan, when a lady who worked there came over with a Wenlock and Pride the Lion cuddly toy and asked my 2 Kids if they would like them for free!
Of course my Kids said yes and they were really really pleased with them (especially as they has been pestering for Olympic things all summer long!) and couldn't believe their luck.
These were the medium sized cuddly toys which were approx £15 when full price this year.
Thank you Tesco! it makes a nice refreshing change to come across friendly staff

Tesco has probably written the entire remaining stock off and has told the staff to give to customers as a goodwill gesture.
I wouldn't be suprised if any remaining Olympics stuff will soon be heavily reduced, can't see there being much demand for London 2012 badges now.0 -
The leader of my daughters 2-3 group saw they were giving them out at the weekend and asked at the Customer Service desk if she could get enough for all the kids at group. She came out with 10 of the Pride Lions and had a lot of happy kids on Monday morning
