I wanna buy this TV: Hitachi 46 in from Argos -any good?

I don't know anything about TVs but finally decided to buy one: I've seen this:

It's going to be my only TV. I have a Sky HD+ box to use with it.

No idea,but it may be worth checking out the TV's on sale at tesco at the mo aswell.Loads on sale when I was there yesterday including a 50 inch panasonic plasma for £252 and a few 32 inch lcds for £168,so may be worth seeing what they have

Honestly I wouldn't bother asking on here. I brought a cheapo tv from argos and posted on here as the picture wasn't great. I was told on the techie forum it was because it was a cheap, the panels were no good, there was nothing I could do to make it better. Turns out I was using the SCART rather than the HMI socket soon as I did that the picture is crisp and perfect. So don't bother listening to the "experts" some are too hung up on the tech snobbery!

Sainsburys had some bargains as well today! 32 inches for well under 200 quid.
