Electric Shower on Combi System?

Hi,
I have a simple question and can't seem to find the answer! Can you power a normal electric shower on a mains system that has been converted to a combi boiler system? I'd rather do this than have the shower off the boiler in case the boiler breaks down.
Thanks.

Yes, I have one I also have a shower head tap on the bath in case this fails.
I had a combi put in last December.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
Of course you can, why would you think otherwise. Your electric shower is fed directly from the cold water supply. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

My old electric shower is still working after having a combi installed.
Electric showers are pants tho
and cost a bit to run.
Will definatley be changing to a proper one ASAP0 -
Agreed, work best in the summer, slow to a trickle in winter. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

you don't need another web site for the answer, with a combi your whole house will be fed off of the incoming mains cold supply which is what is req for an electric shower so the answer is yes.I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
