The "One Account" - best account for freelancers/contractors

My awful fixed rate mortgage finally came to an end last year and I got myself a RBS "One Account". This is a combined mortgage and current account. As a freelancer, I can go through 4+ jobs in a year. When I'm working the moneys good, but it can be weeks sometimes months between contracts. Before I had to have a lump some in a savings account I have now put this is my "One Account" and reduced my mortgage. When I am out of contract I don't need to pay anything in to it. When I'm in work I pay as much as I can into it.
