What to do with old PC components

As I am upgrading my PC I would like to know if there is any way I can sell/recycle my old components (motherboard, processor, case etc) as it seems a waste to just throw it. Is there a company that will make use of this for perhaps third world country's ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Freecycle it or theres computers for africa, where abouts do you live as there mght be 1 thats closer, maybe have a look on google for 1. Whether cfa would pick up the 1 pc i dont know so your best bet is for a charity closer to you. Check the map bottom right of that link as ther emight be details of a charity near you.0

On eBay, do a bit of research and see if it's more profitable to sell items separately or sell as a motherboard combo ie motherboard,CPU and ram together. Normally don't bother selling the PC case as the delivery costs don't make it worth while.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0

I give mine to charity shops apart from the hard drive.
I either use the hard drive again or destroy it.I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0 -
