There are no staple marks in the chart (its 2 A3 pages in size) so I think it must have been given as a supplement.0 -

Hello Girls,
:easter_ba Happy Easter to all :icotbaske
Well I have done it - finished purple work part two on 31.3.13 - not too sure if my signature on the work looks ok. Just have to save up to get frames for them both.
So here it is -
Got some lamb hotpot cooking and made a lemon cake to take down to my mum & dads later.
Now on to stitching for Sandy Hook -tho I have a birth sampler to to do too.
Kind wishes to all

have you seeen how obsessed I am with it??
Wow! Soooo cool! Almost worth having a kid for.
I've got a fascination with the underground map too. Used to have a poster of what it looked like years ago, but not sure where it went. If I ever find it, I'd love to frame it. I love hearing about old stations too. I'd love a tour of an unused station. DH went on one once years ago. King William street, when he worked by London Bridge.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Love your purple work, sweetcarer.
I've been hanging my stitching in our lovely newly decorated living room this weekend. So far our 'reading nook' is mainly cricket themed, so there's a stitched cricket bear, plus some boring prints of old cricket players, then I've added a couple of small prints of Tower Bridge and Regents Park (bought in Covent Garden market & forgot we had them!). On the fireplace wall is the WTP wedding sampler and I'll probably add some small stitched pic on the mantelpiece. The other 'nook' has a big new storage unit in it, my LK 'A Good Marriage' hanging above it and (once I've ironed and reframed it) a blackwork dragon above that. My Pocket Dragon collection is either side of those, so it kind of goes.
Above the sofa is my Titanic, another wedding sampler and-once its washed-the wall hanging that my friends made us for our wedding. On the last wall is the Flowers Of The Year I stitched for my grandparents in 1996. Also planning to hang the Labyrinth pixel people there when it's done. Still space for some more stitching. Just need the time to do them & the money to frame them! I'll have to post photos when the rest is up. How many stitched things are in the room you're in now? And did you do them or were they gifts?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Hi all, just a quick pop in 'cause I'm not in a very good mood lol
Firstly I had some stuff on eBay end today, some sold and some didn't so I went to relist the stuff that didn't sell, and they are trying to charge me 10p insertion fee, when it was free before, so either I've done something wrong or they are being naughty.
Secondly I wanted to subscribe to Cross Stitcher for the Gruffalo chart but can't find anywhere what is offering anything for subscribing
And thirdly I am coming down with a cold, and I've got a sneaky suspicion that I might have to call the emergency number on the card I was given when I was discharged, that says 'if you even THINK you are unwell, call the number'. SO not happy about that, might leave it until tomorrow.

Soulie - can help with 1 & 2 but re no.3 I think you sjould call the emrgency number sooner rather than later. You don't want to leavenit get a hold and make you really poorly. Your defences must be low so its best to take care.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

(While you ring them, I'll look for a subs deal on Cross Stitcher)0
