  • Could you send her a check or postal order Caroline, you could pay the money into her bank account but you would need to get her to give you her bank details first x

Another little finish for me, quite pleased with how this one turned out and he looks quite happy in the cheap Home Bargains Frame lol

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
caroline - that's so lovely of your aunt. Perhaps if she won't take the money you could put £100 a month into savings then put it on a gift card for somewhere (that is looking less likly to go bust) for a christmas present. If you were to get an Asda/ Tesco one then you could always put a message with it to say if she won't accept it then buy her daughter something.
When are you going away? The alternative is to put it in savings and change it into local currency to go away and tell them to use it for a few meals out/ a trip somewhere?

    LOVE Eyore soulie
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Its ridiculous what hackers do. What would they get out of using your email address  im with yahoo but ive been ok I think. How can you tell it's been hacked?

Because you get messages from people on FB and forums telling you they received a spam email from yoru account (sorry) :o Also you get 'undeliverable' notices from email accounts which are defunct but you never got round to deleting. And on hotmail when you log in it says 'it looks like someone has been trying to use your account (No...really?) and you have to go through security verification to gain access.

There are no sign of the sent items in the outbox though, so you can't be sure exactly who got the message.

Soulie, Eeyore is lovely, and that frame is just perfect :)

Caroline - What a lovely thing for your aunt to do, she wouldn't have given you it if she couldn't afford it. And really, she is doing it to help out her sister and make sure you all have a great time without having to worry.
I wouldn't send cash in the post, not even recorded delivery. I would either send a cheque, or if you think she won't cash it, get it as a gift voucher for wherever she does her weekly shop.

Hi everyone. Sorry it has been so long. I think I am on too many forums on MSE. I can't keep up with them all ;) I have completed another page of Forest Walk and I've finished three little pieces so far this year

I visited the framer's yesterday for a quote to frame Japanese Ambiance. I thought it would look really good in a red laquer type frame but we eventually decided on a suede blue mount and a gold bamboo style frame. I need to put some money away for it but hopefully I can have it done in a few weeks. It'll be the first piece I've finished that'll be framed so I'm quite excited.

    Soulie - Eeyore looks lovely.

I love everyone's updates and best wishes for everyone who has troubles atm

    Will post again soon

Caroline - what a lovely gesture from your Aunt. Go on holiday and have a lovely time and enjoy it. She wouldn't have given it to you if she was in a position where she couldn't afford it - it's a lovely way of her treating her family.

Soulie - love Eeyore and frame is just perfect.

winnie - window is coming along - hope you have managed some stitching tonight.

Elle - you have been busy. Love the updates and looking forward to seeing framed piece.

Have only managed a few stitches on SB tonight - the first since earlier in the week. Busy day tomorrow and we are off to a Ceilidh
tomorrow night so it will probably be Sunday before any more progress is made. :(

Hope you all have a lovely weekend (despite the yucky weather).

This one is a card for a friend's daughter who is 16. She is a bit gothic/emo and I struggled to find something. I found the skull online and designed the lettering myself. Found it a bit tricky as I decided to invert the lettering and so it is blank and the stitching surrounds it. It took 19 hours and 2.5 skeins of 301. Don't want to see black for a long time...lol
