Cross Stitch Cafe - stitching out of 2012 and into 2013...

Hi guys would you mind if I joined the thread? I have Ben stitching on and off the last 15 years. I have lots of stitchy New Years resolutions this year. 1- to put a needle to fabric everyday, even if it is one stitch. 2 - to stitch a Christmas decoration a month 3- stitch 10 already kitted charts before I am allowed to buy anymore:eek:

I started a prarie schooler free design last night which is my January Christmas ornament.

Are any of you on Pinterest? I am getting most of my charts from there at the moment.

I have read back a few pages and your work is gorgeous:)

Lovely pics ladies - keep up the great work.

Stitched a little bit of the free kit from WOCS tonight - seems to be taking ages at the moment - but I promise it is going to be my first complete project of 2013.

Feel totally zapped of energy tonight and supposed to be at the gym in the morning for 7.30 :eek:. Dont think it will be too long before I'm off to bed.

PS Trying to sort myself some time tomorrow to grid the fabric for 12 Days of Xmas and possibly copy some of the charts. Had intended to hit the shops but as there is not anything I really really need and have very little spare cash I thought I might stay at home. (very mse - will :money: be giving me a gold star for trying).

I finished another UFO on 31/12/12. Hooray! This one was over ten years old. I think I started it whilst still in secondary school. You should see the back! The tails of thread are so long. What was I thinking? I'll post a pic of it soon.

Done another couple of hours tonight. Realised there is an error somewhere in my sewing as the left side isn't matching up with the middle - that's probably the reason I gave it up to start with. Ill have a closer look at it tomorrow and find out where it went wrong and try to find a way to sort it out
