My Outlook Express 6 does not seem to be working, emails from other clients are forwarded to OE, but none there this morning, when clicking send/receive I get "not responding" and then cannot even open existing emails, if I close it down and reopen, I can open existing emails but when clicking send/receive again I am locked out of everything, the send/receive button is greyed out and the only way to do anything is to close OE and reopen it, but the same problem occurs.
It was working OK yesterday, any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it?

Try the Microsoft Repair Kit
The first instruction from that link is: -- In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
- In the Temporary Internet files panel, click Delete files.
- In the pop-up alert window, select the Remove all offline files check box, and then click OK.

Try Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options
(if using icon view, you won't need to click Network and Internet)How do I add a signature?0 -
Try Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options

I must have more problems than OE, control panel will not open from start menu, neither will My Computer, (although that did earlier this morning), or My Documents, Run, Search.
I use Firefox browser, latest version,(15.0.1 ), Windows XP Home Edition.
I have tried opening IE from Start > All Programs, but still nothing, I have rebooted, still no joy.

Also can't use iPlayer, that is saying,"the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed".
Edit, everything just seems to have gone back to normal!
