Lloyds new login security checks

I just thought I would give everyone the heads up that Lloyds have new security checks when trying to login….

LOL that they think I’m that stupid!
I am not sure where the browser hijack or whatever it is came from but I have to admit it’s the best one I've seen so far. Even all the help and support boxes worked and the English appeared fine.

If the login page was not, or does not start as, https://online.lloydstsb.co.uk then it's not genuine login screen.
Did you put in any details to get to this page, if you did I'd be looking to changing them.
Certainly worth telling Lloyds about it. Definitely a phishing site as it's asking for all the memorable information. Lloyds will never ask for more than 3 characters from it.0 -
I didn’t enter any info at all on this page. TBH the first question threw me as at first I didn’t know what “memorable information” referred to. I didn’t realize it was the drop down stuff. I then read a few more questions and all became apparent.
I haven’t informed Lloyds as of yet.
I had a poke around the question boxes and had a look at the address. I had installed about 3 pieces of software since I last tried to log in so I ran a system restore and undid these changes. The login page is back to normal now. I am not sure if this page appeared after the initial screen with your login number where you enter yourpassword so this may be worth changing but they don’t have any other info.0 -
The 'page' you are supposed to enter the information on is not on the green https tab is it?
Otherwise it is very good and a lot of people would fall for it - please send it to LTSB for them to investigate.0 -
Although to most it's a fake page, "Driver licence" should be a big clue. No such animal in the U.K. I'm surprised it's not Driver license!0

You see things like this and feel grateful one's elderly parents don't do internet banking.0
