balance transfer question

hi have a quick question i have just applied for a Halifax 0% interest credit card for 14 months and was successful wish is brill but i didnt ask for a balance transfer as thought i wouldnt need it but as it happens i do need to transfer some from an exsisting card ,will they let me do this once i have card ? sorry if it seems a silly question just not used a cc card for transfers before thanks

  • Yes they will.

    They normally give you the option at the point of applying, but you can do it at a later date, as long as you do it in a set period ( normally 60 days)

    They might mention the option to transfer when you receive the card etc..

    If they don't, then a simple phone call to customer services should sort it out.

    yes did give me option when applying but like i said didnt think i would need to :0/ so was to late when i thought about it but thats ok then if i have 60 days
