Hi
Please can someone telll me if I am entitled to any benefits.

I am on £17000, per year so I am not entitled to working tax credit.
Is there such a thin as Disabilty Working Allowence and if so should I qualify.
Thanks In Advance.
Graeme

It would depend on the severity of your asthma.
Rules include:
"Are you:
Aged 16 or over?
Working on average 16 hours a week or more?
Restricted in the type of work, number of hours or amount you can earn because of illness or disability?
Then check the questions below.
1. Have you
Been getting one of the following because of your illness or disability, in the last 26 weeks?
Short-term Incapacity Benefit paid at a higher rate
Long-term Incapacity Benefit
Severe Disablement Allowance
Disability premium or higher pensioner premium on:
Income Support,
Minimum Income Guarantee,
income-based Jobseeker's Allowance,
Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit."
You can apply online. If you'd rather ring for more information, call the Helpline on 0845 300 3900. If you use a textphone the number is 0845 300 3909.
How do I claim?
To apply for Disabled Person's Tax Credit, get an application pack from Inland Revenue enquiry centres, your Jobcentre Plus office, Jobcentre or social security office.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
