Lava Lamp

My lava lamp has been in storage and has falled on its side and about 10% of the liquid has leaked out. Is it possible to refill it or repair it in some other way? What is the solution inside?

Sounds like the seal has gone. I wouldn't risk it, liquid and electricity isn't a good combination. Best to treat yourself to a new one. Most markets have them for about a tenner.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Depends, if you have an original mathmos lava lamp, you can buy a replacement lava bottle without replacing the whole lamp (see their site for details).
If it's a cheap copy, you're probably better off just replacing it - I too don't like the idea of broken seals and electricity...0 -
