Hi santer cheers, that,s not the one, it,s a guy who has his own site, gives good diy advice on dysons, just forgot it, always thought it was dyson doc, but maybe it,s not there anymore, got it off here.used it before:beer:

thanks guys, dysonmedic is very similar to the one I had, google pulls up dyson doctor, mainly patrs retailer;
dyson always have hidden screws etc, not designed for diy;;
these links will be good enough thanks, on/off switch. rubic cube to dismantle;without inside knowledge.:beer:

Thanks macman, sorted it now, had to bend fine screwdriver at 45 degree angle to remove button, to get to switch. without that info, one would never have removed it without damage.and then it was b=== y arkward.
then had star screws, lucky, got a set.dyson won,t supply a switch,£5, got it from another site.:beer:

Man Vacs sell a tool specifically for switch removal, and also the Torx drivers needed on all Dysons.
