Do I need an eBay shop? Is it worth it?

Hi all, I've been selling things on eBay for a few months now, all things I've had at home but never used. It's all the same, but different. Anyway, I've been selling about £300PCM with listing about 6-10 items a week. I've recently been off sick from work so have been listing 20-30 a week. In the last 30 days I've sold £600. It's haberdashery goods.

The products are readily available, it basically relies on people being lazy and me selling the item onto them. I've been getting requests for multiple buys and Swapping this for that...

So, my thinking was if I had a shop I would be able to allow the seller to pick what they want, pop it in the same order and pay all at once, without multiple emails going back and forth. Thus saving me time

An eBay shop is something I've briefly looked into as I think the 40p listing for a BIN is quite steep but a basic store would attract a 10p charge so that would save me £8 PCM... Over 1/2 paid for with the discount to list items. I do more auctions than BINs simply because of the fees

Is the final fee the same? Ie 10% for the category I'd be listing in?

Does it allow you to put specific stock levels in ie could I input that I have 26 of something and it would register that?

Anyone who has a shop did it boost your sales? Reading the eBay literature it boasts that 7 out of 10 sellers reported increased sales, but I'm sure that has something to do with listing more rather than the shop per say?

Any advice from shop owners? Pros/cons etc
