Probably a silly/random question
When you write to HMRC to tell them about change of circumstances, how long do you usually have to wait to get a response?
Thanks.

Ummmmm... HMRC? Partner moving in so instead of claiming single parent WTC etc it'll be a joint income into the house. That make sense?!?Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0

When I wrote to HRMC advising of a change it took them 2 weeks to sort out. They have been pretty quick when I have had to do this twice before.
Good luck

Huh? Apologies?? No!! Wasn't offended in the slightest! It would've made sense if I'd included the relevant info in my first post instead of having people ask questions to clarify! Apologies from me!!

You would be better ringing HMRC to tell them as you will need to cease the single claim and make a new joint claim.0
