JSA - saying no to interview

Hi,

I told the jobcentre people about the interview.

I did get a call to attend the interview. But at this stage, since I got a call about another interview elsewhere (much better job) I wish to withdraw from the first one.

So, the question is.. will the jobcentre find out I turned down a request for interview ?

They may - they may not. Surely though, refusing an interview merely on the basis of being offered another interview is foolish.

The JCP does on occasion follow up with employers to check your progress, so to refuse the interview would be foolish. Even more foolish is refusing it because you *might* be successful in another interview.

~Are both interviews at the same time, is there any reason why you cant attend both, if they are at the same time, try and rearrange one of them.
