Hi OP
It's the dispatch causing you the issue, you'd need to get 2 or 3 (not 100% sure) removed to be in the clear.
The neg should have been doable with tracking as "late" is a statement which tracking could disprove (rather than "slow" being an opinion), if you could demonstrate any others were delivered within the ETA with tracking they might have been removable depending upon who you speak to.
All you can do is ask the buyers if they'll agree to the feedback being removed but it's a very long shot. If any do agree eBay can read their message and then remove the feedback. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

5 x 1 or 2 * in only 32 feedback is actually quite poor and it seems odd to have that many buyers misunderstand the difference between despatch and using special delivery. However Unless you are selling a lot of phones, and you say you are a private seller, then it seems unlikely that it is just that which has caused the problem.
You will need to keep appealing though if you want to be able to use ebay again, grovel, plead, prmomise to up your game and ship within 24 hours (and mean it) and maybe there is an outside chance ebay might relent.
Unfortunately nowadays selling brand new mobile phones as a private seller is making you look a little shady, and add to that a slow despatch and I wonder if buyers are panicking that they are being scammed and hitting back at the despatch star when the phone does arrive.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. eBay can be harsh & they now count anything over 3 day as exceptional dispatch time & this is your downfall & you would have warnings on your dashboard for some time.
I would try calling them again & ask if any of the low counts can be removed, also did you ever upload the tracking numbers to eBay, as they would be able to check them0 -
Once again another Ebayer does not know of the expanded seller dashboard until its too late. How hard would it be for the waste of space Ebay to highlight it on the site - and bring EVERYONES attention to it.
Thats said - once you get your first email saying that you have to improve - you are expected to improve month of month. As long as you do this - Ebay should not suspend you.
They think you just ignored their warnings, and carried on regardless.
The best way to get full marks for comminication is to say nothing. Dont email them at all - unless they message you. You get full stars if you DON'T communicate.
As for dispatch - i'm afraid its 3 days max now - or you will get hammered. I tend to post within 24 hours. I didnt like being forced into it - but im glad i have got into the routine of doing it now - it saves a lot of hassle. No 1's or 2's in over a year!!!
Your ratings needs to be above 4.6 and your percentage of 1's and 2's below 2%. You are way off, i'm afraid.
Good luck with Ebay - its will be like talking to a brick wall.0 -

No good if the buyer doesn't pay for a day or two after winning (as they're entitled to do) as you'd then be back in the same position.0 -

If the buyer emails you to say 'where is my item' then you don't get auto-5*s.
You have to state 1-day dispatch on your listings and then ship within that period to qualify, and there has to be no contact from the buyer within 14 days either side of end-of-auction. There has to be no reason for any other communication, not just no communication full stop.
Dispatch is something that is more important than I think you realise - Amazon make you ship within two days of purchase and withhold the money until you do so. Holding onto money without fulfilling your part of the bargain is not on - if you can't get to the PO easily because you work then it is inefficient to sell and inefficient to develop a business without seriously thinking about what is competitive now and what is not.
Buyers now expect a lot, particularly if they are buying expensive items, and it's a seller's job to provide that service. Even stating dispatch time up front is not a good idea - it's meaningless to people who have paid and want what they paid for.
Special Delivery is for insurance as well as speed but ultimately, it doesn't really matter - perception is what matters when leaving feedback. I'd like to see sellers restricted to providing a short dispatch time - it would stop all these kinds of arguments and make people consciously think about their customers and their expectations."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
