credit cards

I frequently take out new credit cards with 0% interest on balance transfers. should i cancel any old ones i have? also if i do, can i apply to these companies for a new one at a later date?

    Impossible to say without knowing all your other financial circumstances.

    Your credit "rating" depends on:
    income
    property type
    payment history
    available credit
    credit balances owed

    If you have high total available credit (> 50% of income) this will harm your chances, so closing some accounts is a good idea.

    If your available credit is still low (<25%) it won't make much difference.
