Sainsburys error:( Now 2x large chickens for £10

Whats the deal with Sainsburys if the items are out of stock? Do they substitute at equal or higher value for same price as Tescos do?

shopping cart is too glitchy for me puts 2 x whole chicken through at £0 and overcharges any item at the top of the list by £2 if i add two more chickens the next offer to the top shows full amount no offer.

yeah my torlley was given allsorts of crazy amounts - I rang CS and they said the correct amount will be shown on the delivery note and if its not to callthem. If they send things not int he offer I will just send them back and pop into the shop for them - mena I miss out on the £12 off but its still a good deal

When checking on Sainsburys website there are a lot of meats that say 2 for £5. However, I went at lunchtime today and when I got to the store it would appear that Sainsburys have made a mistake as in store they 2 for £10. I am unsure whether to ask for the food online as they might charge me the proper price anyway. Did you get yours online and did they charge you correctly.

Yeah, I went into the store but didnt bother to go through checkout or try. I think theyve made a mistake. Went online and ordered, my invoice has also gone all over the place but will check when it comes through tomorrow morning that they havent overcharged. Thought it was too good to be true.:T

Sounds like an administration error. Obviously following Tescos lead....

Hmm not sure what to do for the best. I ordered and the total seemed fine but checking my confirmation it is really glitchy with some meat showing as 0.00 and the total for meat being £33 when it should be £30. Half my order is meat though, so the driver won't be happy with me if I send it all back!

Same here - I checked on the website before leaving earlier and sure enough, they were showing as 2 packs of £6 chicken fillets for £5.

When I got there, they were displayed as 2 for £10, as were the whole chickens and also the lamb leg steaks.

I bought two packs of the chicken fillets anyway hoping they'd go through the till at a fiver (would have gone back in for more if they had!), but they it charged me £10 for the two.

Well done to all those who got theirs!
